Oh this should be good.

Following on yesterdays post it appears that the leftard conspiracy of silence over the attempt by hardline islamists to turn schools into education centres for the brainwashing of muslim kids whilst alienating any others who came along and treating them like scum. Now those teachers who were forced out are being encouraged to sue the Council and its education Dept...
Express.
TEACHERS forced out of schools at the centre of the “Trojan horse” allegations in Birmingham could sue the council for failing in its “duty of care” towards them, an MP claims.
At least 12 senior staff, mostly heads, were banned from speaking out as part of their six-figure payoffs. Some say they were bullied, intimidated and threatened over extremists’ attempts to target state schools in the city.
Now Labour MP Khalid Mahmood claims the teachers deserve compensation after a report criticised Birmingham City Council’s poor protection for whistleblowers.
The report by independent adviser Ian Kershaw, published on Friday, was commissioned by the council following concerns raised in a letter of 2013, known as the “Trojan horse” letter. It suggested a number of schools had been “taken over” to ensure they were run on Islamic principles.
According to the report, the council “disastrously” failed to act when a group of Muslim men began to promote, sometimes illegally, a fundamentalist version of Islam in some schools, because officials were afraid of being accused of racism or Islamophobia.
Mr Mahmood told the Sunday Express: “There was a significant failure in the rights of individuals who needed the protection of their employer and wanted support with the very difficult issues they were facing.
Well I bet the council tax payers in Birmingham are going to love that and no doubt if the payouts are huge the UK taxpayer will have to step in and bail them out all because of 'community cohesion' and the lunatic thinking behind it. The political left has given the entire country a poisonous legacy of imbecilic laws and authorities who are either enablers of islam through fear of it because in their blinkered outlook criticism of it automatically equals racism (despite islam not being a race) or because they genuinely believe that muslims cannot do any wrong besides they also hate Israel as all proper thinking leftards do and the enemy of my enemy etc...
The Council's Education Dept has of course not helped with its Orwellian gagging orders on dismissed staff who were hounded out of their jobs. Indeed the originally Trojan letter probably came from one of these staff and was at first dismissed by leftards in the BBC and Grauniad as a forgery and a hoax, practically right up to the last moment when the report came out and demonstrated that the letter was quite likely a forgery, but not a hoax and the meddling of hard line islamics in schools was very, very real.
This I think is going to run and run...

This is why our society will fall one day

Islam, the biggest problem facing the civilised world today and a protected species in the UK as successive governments and the legions of libtards and leftards moved to place it beyond criticism and investigation, even to the extent as West Midlands Police did to prosecute a documentary maker (Channel 4) when they filmed Undercover Mosque rather than deal with the real problems the program unearthed. Then their were the grooming scandals where Social services departments went out of their way to blame the girls for having the misfortune to come into contact with predatory muslim males and their misogynistic all non-muslim women are whores for our use attitude and who covered up the scandal with police connivance for years. We have the burning of poppies which gets you a £150 fine for the perpetrator coupled with 12 months imprisonment for putting bacon on a mosque door handle for a Scottish man, dual standards if ever there were.. There are other scandals, Lee Rigby, Kris Donald and Charlene Downes, to name but a few and now of course we have the Trojan Horse scandal in our schools...
Telegraph.
Children were taught that all Christians are liars and attempts were made to introduce Sharia law in classrooms as part of an alleged 'Trojan Horse' takeover plot of Birmingham schools, an inquiry has found.
The inquiry commissioned by Birmingham City Council found evidence of religious extremism in 13 schools as school governors and teachers tried to promote and enforce radical Islamic values.
Schools put up posters warning children that if they didn't pray they would "go to hell", Christmas was cancelled and girls were taught that women who refused to have sex with their husbands would be "punished" by angels "from dusk to dawn".
The report found that the extremism went unchecked because the council "disastrously" prioritised community cohesion over "doing what is right".
It concluded that there was a "determined effort" by "manipulative" governors to introduce "unacceptable" practices, "undermine" head teachers and deny students a broad and balanced education.
Ah yes, community cohesion a term loved by leftards and libtards as it enables them to ignore the excesses of islam and concentrate on the racism of 'ol whitey' if he even looks at them funny. yet even now there are those out there who tried to deny that the report was in some way compromised. Yet teachers were persecuted, hounded and bullied because they were not Muslim and many in the media (yes Guardian and Independent we're looking at you) tried to convince people that this was racially motivated islamophobia and that nothing really worthy of inspection was going on. Even yesterday BBC radio chose to frame the reports by running this as the headline: Birmingham City Council's report found no evidence of a "conspiracy" to promote "violent extremism or radicalisation" values. They've strangely changed their tune today.
The British people have been betrayed by successive governments and the sycophantic followers of left wing dogma to the stage where I doubt society can be fixed any more, they're simply too well dug in. Couple this with the EU and uncontrolled immigration then you can probably guess where the country will be in about twenty years time.
I'd be amazed if we don't have a full blown civil war on our hands.

Silly season

Imagine a country school, small, only 13 pupils all of them from the same ethnic background. The one thing you wouldn't expect is it to be put into special measures due to a 'hate crime' yet such are the rules when a child uses the word 'gay.' Well Ofsted's rules that is, normal common sense rules don't apply when dealing with what is essentially an inspection bureaucracy...
Mail.
A village primary school with just 13 pupils was put into special measures after an Ofsted inspection found too many incidents of racist or homophobic bullying and serious acts of violence.
But the chairman of governors at Ravenstonedale Endowed School in rural Cumbria has fought back, claiming the report was based on a single incident of children using the word ‘gay’ as a throwaway comment and not knowing what it meant.
Liz Morgan said it had been ‘blown out of proportion’ and also denied there had been any racism at the remote school, where all of the children are white.
She said she believed Ofsted had an agenda against small schools and suspected they’d been unfairly labelled racist because racism and homophobia were treated as one category by Ofsted.
Whilst I suppose it is possible the school is bringing up a secret sept of the UK version of the Hitler Youth you have to start wondering just what the Ofsted inspector was taking when they came to the conclusion that the school was guilty of too many incidents when there appears to be only one and that of a child probably using the term gay as an insult, not to gays, but in its other usage as something not terribly good. English is a terribly slippy language often picking up loan words and changing the meaning of others to suit new circumstances. The word awful was once used to describe St Paul's cathedral in London. It didn't mean that it was rubbish, but that it inspired awe to look at as in full of awe. Same way that gay used to mean happy (still does, though not in current usage)  then meant homosexual and now has turned not into a homophobic insult but means a bit naff when used in context. Now the gay mafia and the politically correct brigade may not like it, but in certain contexts the language has shifted and the word now has another meaning as well as the old ones.
It will be interesting to watch what happens to the hate crime school of Ravenscar, the accusations quietly shelved at best or some petty nonsensical measure put in place to sop Ofsted's position.
Seems like the silly season is now well under way.

Lowest common denominator

One of the main reasons for the failures in some of the state schools is that they default to having to try to spend more resources teaching those at the bottom end of the learning spectrum. The brightest and best have a tendency to become bored or are simply ignored as teachers struggle to cope with the disruptive and struggling in their classes. Because of the insistence of only moving kids forward one year at a time and massive resistance to streaming the brightest into their own classes to learn at a higher pace, we ended up with a train crash of an education system...
Express.
COMPREHENSIVE schools are still linked with “mediocrity and failure”, the chief schools’ inspector said yesterday.
Sir Michael Wilshaw, head of watchdog Ofsted, believes too many are still clinging on to poor teaching methods which are a “throwback to the 1960s and 1970s”, such as “informal learning”.
He also attacked a lack of academic rigour, a neglect of basic literacy and numeracy and a resistance to exams and “meaningful” qualifications.
Sir Michael warned that nearly one in five is not up to scratch and many others are in a “constant battle to avoid slipping backwards”.
In a speech at Wellington College in Berkshire he said: “Even though the ideology that afflicted so many... has been largely discredited, its damaging effects remain.”
These include a half-hearted pursuit of high standards and a toleration of poor behaviour.
As mentioned above, one of the reasons for a half hearted pursuit of high standards is many teachers are forced to deal with kids who don't want to learn to the detriment of those who do. Add to this a heady mix of uncontrolled immigration and a set of pupils who initially do not understand English any too well and the situation is far worse than it need be.
Once upon a time we had two types of schooling, grammar and modern, kids took the 11 plus exam and the brightest went to grammar schools the rest went to the modern system which was biased towards trade skills rather than academic ones. It wasn't particularly fair to the late developers, but it worked and owing to misplaced leftard delusions of fairness it had to go so all could have prizes. So instead of helping the best we had to do the best they could, we drowned them in a sea of comprehensive education.
We have sacrificed far too many of our children on a bed of political dogma where teaching methods and curriculum were messed with by politicians and leftard so called academics until we have the situation where a lot of kids now leave school barely literate and numerate, something almost unheard of in my generation.
Fairness is for adults, not kids, the schooling system should be aimed at getting the best out of all, but streamed towards the brightest getting preferential treatment. No, it isn't fair, but it will work.

All must have prizes

For a long time now the policy in state schools by those whose allegiance to the left both in government and in teaching has been to downgrade sport. They followed a policy (however idiotic) that competition was somehow denigrating to those who did not win and this somehow damaged them.. Rather than assisting them to understand how the real world worked with winners and losers, they went for an all must have prizes groupthink which as kids are not stupid simply meant that the brighter and better ones simply didn't bother to apply discipline in sport to themselves and those who couldn't thought they were better somehow than they were.
BBC.
Too many state-school pupils are denied the chance to take part in competitive sport by head teachers who treat it as an "optional extra", says Ofsted.
Schools where pupils lack opportunities to excel in sport tend to have worse academic results, says a report from the watchdog.
It explores why so many top athletes are from private schools.
The National Union of Teachers said Ofsted's comparison between state and private school sport was "ridiculous".
The report, Going the extra mile: Excellence in competitive school sport, was commissioned after the 2012 Olympics to explore why so many Team GB athletes had been educated in private rather than state schools.
The report finds that in the most successful schools, both state and private, heads recognise that competitive sport can help build an ethos and boost grades.
Strong teams rely on teachers prepared to dedicate time and energy before, during and after school, as well as at weekends, say the authors.
Staff need to be able to identify talented pupils for extra coaching and ensure matches are accessible to everyone else, they add.
Not every state school of course, but the majority simply fail to see sport as a necessity in developing the children in a positive way. Nor does the NUT's bleat about  State schools having neither the same facilities nor time and space in the curriculum for sport as independent schools hold much water either, facilities possibly, but time? I'm pretty sure that independent schools teach the same curriculum generally as the state ones, though perhaps without the namby pamby leftard nonsense like climate change and multicultural bullshit.
A lot of this is down to political meddling with the curriculum in the past and no doubt future politicians will try to get into the act as well. Yet education is far too important to leave in the hands of anyone who has an agenda other than producing a bright and well educated next generation. Playing political skittles with kids brains to try to be fair to those who don't do so well has been a disaster, kids generally don't think like that anyway and so switch off from the process.
The ethos of all must have prizes needs to go and be replaced with a competitive edge. Sure there will be some who fail, but the winners will gain self confidence and the losers will develop mechanisms to cope and succeed in other ways.
Don't hold your breath on things changing soon though, those who believe that all must have prizes are too well entrenched in education to let go easily.

Snap

The so called Trojan Horse affair rumbles on though there are doubts to the veracity of the original letter. In the end though it comes down to what's happening in various schools where the majority of pupils are muslim and the things that they are being taught and the teaching staff are being encouraged to teach by the school governors. Whether there's a plot to take over the schools I do not know, I'm pretty sure some islamists would love to, yet it does strike me that even if there were no plot, we'd still have grounds to be worried over what muslim dominated schools are teaching as a matter of course...
Mail.
Fears were raised yesterday of more ‘Trojan Horse’ Islamist plots to infiltrate schools across the country.
Ofsted is carrying out ‘lightning’ inspections at schools in the north and south-east of England amid concerns over governors abusing their position and narrowing the curriculum.
Snap visits have already been made to schools in Bradford, Luton and Tower Hamlets in East London, and more are expected to follow.
One inspection – at a private Muslim school in Luton – uncovered books promoting stoning, lashing and execution.
In Bradford, Ofsted has visited Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College, where all governors were sacked in April to prevent inappropriate interference in the running of the school. During a visit yesterday, pupils were allegedly forced to revise for exams in the street as staff did not want them speaking to inspectors.
Normally one would wonder what they have to hide, though in this case I suspect we know, it will be behaviour that muslims think is justifies by their religion, yet they know is frowned upon by civilised people.

This is the direct result of multiculturalism and the state holding the rights of minorities above integration and essentially allowing them to think that they are above criticism and reproach for the twisted medieval views islam promotes in violence, misogyny and homophobia. The problem is not what is going on in the schools, it's islam and always has been. Yet there are those out there who will ignore all that islam does simply because they believe it's being persecuted by the state, they believe we are at fault and that somehow or other we are to blame for islamists.
More and more its becoming apparent that there is no place in a civilised society for islam, never has and never will be.

Whatever happened to brightest and best?

Labour wrecked the university system we had in this country and generally have been a negating factor in education from without and within via the leftist leaning unions with their 'all must win' philosophies and emphasis on dragging all down to the lowest common denominator. They've even used left leaning think tanks to undermine the education system and make suggestions which frankly do not make sense if we wish our schools and universities to produce the best in educated pupils and scholars.
Telegraph.
Universities should drop their entry requirements for pupils from state comprehensives to prevent them missing out on sought-after degree courses, according to research published by the Department for Education.
Teenagers should be admitted to university with lower grades than peers from the private sector to close the gap between state and fee-paying schools, it was claimed.
The study, by the Institute for Fiscal Studies and Warwick University, said performance in GCSEs had the biggest bearing on pupils’ chances of gaining good A-levels and getting in to top universities.
Millions of pounds spent by universities each year to “widen participation” in higher education should be focused on pupils aged 14-to-16 to push them towards degree courses, it said.
But the research warned that the sheer gulf in standards between comprehensives and academically-selective state or private schools was so vast that more drastic measures were needed.
So rather than tackle the real problem of failing state schools the leftard solution is to reduce the entry requirements for failing schools at top universities.
Truly idiotic is it not?
It does not seem to have occurred to anyone making this report (or perhaps it has and it's all part of the plan) that allowing more poorly educated pupils into university doesn't help them, the university, nor the ones who've really earned a place there. If you go in with a lower standard you've got to be brought up to the required standard for one thing and so several will find themselves dropping out because they cannot cope with the far more rigorous requirements that universities need in order to get a degree in a subject that actually means something.
Education has been wrecked by the so called progressives in this country who demanded an everyone wins formulae to make the system look like year on year things were getting better despite the obvious reality that things weren't and we were producing an underclass to whom reading and basic maths was a foreign concept. It was then taken further to try and force higher education to expand and take on pupils who were manifestly ill equipped to cope with the rigours required in studying at that level.
So now we come to another biggie, lower your standards to let the ill educated in so all can win prizes...
You'd struggle to make it up wouldn't you?

The end result (so far) of pandering to extremism

It has been a truism of politicians and the political classes over the last two decades at least to give lip service to the false doctrines of multiculturalism and political correctness. Slowly over the years this poisonous fruit of placing the desires of the few ahead of the wishes of the many has caused a change in our nation where speaking your mind or advancing even mild criticism of certain groups and religions has led to arrests of the complainants and/or a torrent of abuse heaped upon them by the self loathing leftards and compliant idiots of the UK establishment.
Yet slowly the truth of their pandering to extremists who they placed above criticism and investigation has come to light via the grooming scandals, barbaric butchery of ordinary people and the attempt finally to infiltrate our education system...
Telegraph.
The head of Ofsted is expected to reveal six schools have been placed in special measures following worrying evidence of religious interference in the classroom
Teachers are to be sent on training programmes to help them stop extremism entering the classroom, as damning reports show that some state schools have been imposing Islamic practices and attitudes.
The reports are due to be published by the education watchdog Ofsted next week, after inspectors carried out emergency checks in 21 schools in Birmingham following complaints of homophobia, the segregation of boys and girls in some lessons, refusal to teach sex education, bullying and invitations to extremists to speak at assemblies.
It is understood six schools, including Park View Academy, have been placed in special measures after inspectors found worrying evidence of religious interference in the classroom.
According to The Sunday Times, Sir Michael Wilshaw, the head of Ofsted, will claim next week that children in Birmingham are being denied a “rounded education” to prepare them for life as British citizens.
The Ofsted boss is expected to warn the education secretary Michael Gove that his inspectors have found evidence of some governing bodies being dominated by individuals intent on changing the character of schools.
This sadly is what islam does, it attempts first to ingratiate itself in a society when a tiny minority and when it grows it seeks to bend said society to its ways first by persuasion and finally by violence and intimidation until it becomes a majority and the country involved is simply another islamic shithole that the people want to get out of as islam as a political concept is deeply flawed and highly unworkable. Yet that doesn't stop islamists from hating and wanting to destroy societies from without and within who don't bow the knee to their demonic demigod.
What Ofsted has found will turn out to be the tip of the iceberg as the first arrests in the grooming scandal were the tip in that particular islamic activity. The islamic communities either cover up or ignore the activities of their extremists and let them get on with destroying the society they live in.
This is why islam is incompatible with western civilisation, it seeks not to integrate, but to dominate and destroy, that's why it needs to be rooted out completely and expunged from our shores, if we do not, it surely will destroy the land we live in beyond all recognition.

For years we warned them...

I and my peers the bloggers of the so called right that is...
Seems that the islamist plot to infiltrate schools where they have a majority of pupils is not just limited to Birmingham in the same way that child grooming by muslims wasn't limited to Rochdale who with the Cyril Smith allegations now looks to be the child abuse capital of Britain.
Still, the saddest part is, that it comes to no surprise to those of us who started reporting and in the case of other bloggers actually investigating what was actually going on.
Telegraph.
Concern of 'Trojan Horse' plot spreads to three more state primaries as head teachers' leaders voice concerns for the first time over the Islamic infiltration at schools in Birmingham
Schools across Britain are likely to have been targeted in an alleged Islamist plot to take over classrooms, head teachers have warned.
The National Association of Head Teachers said it had found “concerted efforts” to infiltrate at least six schools in Birmingham.
But the union also said that the scandal had “connections” to other large cities.
The Telegraph understands that there are growing concerns about the possible infiltration of schools in Bradford, Manchester and parts of east London.
The acknowledgement from the professional body follows a series of exposés by The Telegraph which disclosed how a “Trojan Horse” plot in Birmingham had put schools under pressure illegally to segregate classrooms and change teaching to reflect radical Islamic beliefs.
On Friday, Ofsted confirmed that its investigation had spread from 18 to 21 schools in the city. The three additional schools are primaries.
In a statement, the head teachers’ association said attempts had been made to “alter their character in line with the Islamic faith”, including sidelining parts of the curriculum and attempting to influence the appointment of Muslim staff.
The phrase 'give them an inch' springs to mind somewhat.
This is the direct result of pandering to a group whose agenda was well known and who were allowed by the powers that be in the authorities both local and national to be immune to prosecution because of their skin colour in some cases and their religion in others as it was deemed to be racist and politically incorrect to even mention the problems they were causing.
The problems we have now are a direct result of the policies promoted by those who saw multiculturalism as the be all and end all. Rather than insisting in integration, they left whole communities to set up more or less as laws unto themselves with a sharp rise in unacceptable (to the indigenous population) practices including misogyny, homophobia, female genital mutilation, religious extremism, child abuse (of other cultures children) and a massive drain on the countries finances as money was thrown at organisations they ran to encourage their behaviour and shield them from criticism!
Indeed any attempt to criticise was howled down, groups like the EDL were hounded in the press and by the police, attacked violently in the streets by the thugs of the UAF and derided in parliament until eventually the lid blew off and the stench of the islamists activities could no longer be hidden.
Yet why do I have the feeling that eventually there will be an attempt to brush it under the carpet, it's almost like the powers that be want an ignorant religion obsessed underclass to play with...
Perhaps that is the plan...
Then again I doubt they'd like what happens if it does come to fruition, islamic states tend to be violent shitholes, even for the very rich and well off.

Ah that 'must' word again

Must, could, should all often enough used by the media and politicians and in the end pretty much useless in the way of actions or results. There's a stark difference between you must obey the law and you will obey the law one implies the detail that you can ignore the request, the other implies a penalty for not acceding to it.
Mail.
Schools with large numbers of Muslim pupils must respect British values, former home secretary Jack Straw said yesterday.
He spoke as a Muslim MP said a radical ‘Trojan Horse’ plot to take over state schools was operating in Birmingham.
Khalid Mahmood, Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, claimed a ‘small group of individuals’ was trying to change the ethos of schools by stealth.
It was also claimed that roving 'morality squads' have been instituted at the affected schools, and would censor talk of non-Muslim festivals and smash pupils' Easter eggs.
Mr Straw said more and more schools were mostly or entirely comprised of Muslim pupils, adding: ‘We have to accept and the schools with a majority of Muslim parents have to accept – as they do if they are Hindu, Sikh, Jewish or Christian – that we also live within the United Kingdom.
‘Alongside values which are religiously based, there has to understanding that this is the UK and there is a set of values – some of which I would say are Christian based – which permeate our sense of citizenship.’
To which those doing the 'Trojan horse' will ignore because what Jack Straw is telling them can be ignored as they don't share his multicultural values at all save only in using and getting away with their little schemes because the enablers in the system viewed it as 'cultural'.
As far as these people are concerned they are doing the right thing by their religion and their culture and so the current furore simply confirms to them that the will of their deviant god is being opposed by the infidel and so they must be doing something right.
Words simply have no effect on these people, they have a plan, they'll do their best to implement it as to them it's the will of their god, telling them no has no effect, you need to get in there and remove them root and branch before they establish themselves. Simply going to the press and saying they must respect us will only make them laugh, they don't and never will respect us, the best we can hope for is that they will fear us and our wrath if they do anything other than talk about or think about trying to promote their religion and culture.

Telling it like it is

It's often grimly amusing when the MSM discover what's actually going on with islamic extremism and seeks to present it as extreme rather than something that the quran actually advocates. The current 'Trojan Horse' scandal in Birmingham (and elsewhere) schools being a case in point where non-islamics are being forced out of majority muslim schools to make way for what the MSM and Ofsted call extremists or in my view actual muslims who believe what their paedophile prophet actually preached...
Mail.
A Muslim hardliner who says adulterers should be stoned to death and that gay men and fornicators should be lashed 100 times has set up an Islamic school that has received almost £1million of taxpayers’ money.
Ibrahim Hewitt, one of Britain’s most prominent Islamic firebrands – who also heads a charity branded a ‘terrorist’ organisation by the US – is the founder and chairman of trustees of the Al-Aqsa school in Leicester, which teaches 250 boys and girls aged between three and 11.
He has vilified homosexuals as paedophiles and said a man can take on a second wife if his first fails to satisfy him sexually. Mr Hewitt has published his views in a book on Islam, which he claims has sold more than 50,000 copies in Britain.
The preacher is the author of a book called What Does Islam Say?, which spells out his vision of ‘true Islam’. In it he advocates the killing of adulterers by stoning. The book says: ‘Any act that destabilises marriage will also destabilise society. Hence the Islamic punishments for such acts are severe… Married men and women found guilty of adultery are to be stoned to death.’
The book also advocates 100 lashes for fornication and sodomy with both men and women, and condemns homosexuality as a ‘grave sin’.
Mr Hewitt says in the book: ‘Islam, like most other major faiths of the world, categorically forbids homosexual practices (sexual relations between two men or between two women), regarding them as a great sin. In a society under Islamic law, such would be severely punished.’
He then compares homosexuals to paedophiles or those who commit incest. The book says: ‘If people have such desires [homosexuality], they should keep them to themselves, and control their desires to avoid forbidden practices.
‘The advice would be the same as, say, to someone who had sexual desires for minors or for close family: that having the desires does not legitimise realising them.’
The book also argues that men and women are not equal, and men have a right to assume leadership over women. ‘Islam recognises the leadership of men over women, but it does not recognise the domination of one over the other.’
He adds: ‘If a woman is unable to satisfy the sexual or other needs of her husband he may consider taking another wife, rather than the common Western practice of secretly taking a mistress.’
Mr Hewitt has in the past said that ‘political Zionism is a threat to world peace’ and has objected to the setting up of Holocaust Memorial Day.
Thing is, he's absolutely correct in his book about what islam actually says, same as the barbarians who butchered Lee Rigby were doing exactly what islam said.
That is the problem we face with the powers that be in this country and their leftard enablers in local government and public services. They simply do not believe what islam say, you saw it with Cameron and his pronouncement that what the butchers of Lee Rigby did wasn't real islam when it bloody well was!
So what we have is a concerted attempt by islamists to infiltrate and take over certain schools and start teaching what the quran actually says and promote what the hadith's (interpretations of the quran) permit such as segregation, paedophilia, misogyny, murder, homophobia and hatred of Jews.
This isn't just in Birmingham though, it's anywhere in the UK we've allowed the blight of islam to thrive and multiply. Essentially we've allowed an intolerant, political, mind control, supremacist, expansionist, thugocracy masquerading as a religion to take root in towns and cities all over England and dictate to us via the morons in power how they are going to behave and only now do the morons in charge realise the problem they have on their hands even whilst trying to deny its there.
Thing is, we don't know what's being said in mosques, we don't know what's being said in schools they control, but we do know the results of seeing what happens to countries they control and people they don't like once they get into a majority.
There is no place for islam in a civilised country...

Give me the child...

"Give me the child, and I will mould the man."

"Give me the child for seven years,
and I will give you the man."

"Give me the child until he is
seven and I care not who has him thereafter."

"Give me the child till the age of seven
and I will show you the man."

There are moves afoot by radicals in the religion of perpetual offence to take over certain academies with a majority of muslim children in them and radicalise the children by ousting the current heads and leadership. It's not supposed to happen of course but the idiotic libtards and leftards who infest government and education sowed the seeds for such things years ago by assuming that western civilisation was bad and anyone who had white skin was a racist bigot and part neanderthal... besides it's cultural for islamists and we musn't criticise cultural, though it's perfectly OK for them to criticise our own.
Telegraph.
Mohammed Zabar, whose daughter attends Oldknow Academy, has spoken out after the head, Bhupinder Kondal, was driven out
Children at one of the state schools taken over by hardline Muslims are being “programmed” and have been “drilled” by their teachers to lie to Ofsted inspectors investigating the plot, according to a parent.
Mohammed Zabar, the father of a 10-year-old girl attending Oldknow Academy in Birmingham, today becomes the first person to speak openly about events at his daughter’s school.
Mr Zabar, 44, decided to break his silence after The Sunday Telegraphdescribed how teachers at the supposedly secular school led children in anti-Christian chanting, stopped them from celebrating Christmas, organised subsidised trips to Mecca and required all pupils to learn Arabic.
Naturally if the shoe was on the other foot and we were allowing white supremacists to brainwash kids there would be hell to pay and the perpetrators would have been yanked the day after they opened their mouths. But as it's not whites but others and it's their religion, then they've been allowed to get away with it as it would be deemed racist and bigoted to stop it. Indeed if it hadn't been for Mohammed Zabar speaking out, the whole thing would have been brushed under the carpet by the authorities, bit like the grooming scandals now coming to light in many towns and cities where for over a decade lives were ruined because those in power deemed it racist to act on the evidence and assumed the girls because they were white and often enough from broken homes deserved it!
The powers that be and their massed ranks of braindead leftardists in positions of power in this country are storing up the seeds of a vicious civil war in future years because they presume that the problem is us, ol whitey and not the barbarians whose behaviour they excuse be cause its cultural.
There is no place for islam in a civilised society, not now, not ever.

OK, so how do we pay for it?

You can always tell when politicians are throwing out ideas to see how popular a policy might be when they start bandying words like 'radical' about. Some ideas sound great on the MSM, well at least until you look at the small print and ask how much?
Telegraph.
Labour will fight the next election on a pledge to cut tuition fees by £3,000 as part of a "radical" manifesto
Douglas Alexander, the shadow foreign secretary and party’s general election strategist, said a promise to cut student fees is likely to appear in a “credible and radical” manifesto as part of the party’s promise to cut the cost of living for middle class families.
It follows a call by Ed Miliband in 2011 to cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000.
It comes amid mounting concerns over the health of the tuition fees system. Ministers originally expected that 28 per cent of loans would never be repaid, but that is now thought to be closer to 45 per cent . At 48 per cent experts say any benefits from raising tuition fees are cancelled out, experts say.
Mr Alexander said the rate of default was “very high” and Labour would offer a “better solution” for the country’s finances.
“This seems to be another Con-Dem policy which is simply not working.
The last bit made me smile as tuition fees were introduced by Tony Blair in 1998 and were actually a Labour Party idea in order to pay for the massive new influx of students into university, rather than simply the elite.
Seems Labour as ever wish to rewrite history and whitewash their role in it.
Now reducing student debt and regaining any monies paid to them seems like a good idea, assuming you accept the premise that we should be sending so many of them off to Uni in the first place of which it could easily be argued that we don't. My problem as ever being just how do Labour expect to pay for it? Especially when it's on top of a promise to cut middle class debt (another Labour success story)
It does strike me like it always does with socialist pipe-dreams that they simply expect the money to be found and don't actually give a thought as to what will happen if they start soaking some part of the populace to do it. Pointless going after one of their core support groups, the middle class tend to vote either one of the parties in depending on whether they want a change or not so it doesn't bear upsetting them too much and the rich simply up and leave if you hit them.
So, like Labours previous economic successes leaving the country completely spent out and future generations in hock up to the eyeballs, this has all the hallmarks of magic money tree economics where they'll spend money we haven't got to get the student vote...
When will people wake up?

Misogyny

Misogyny, it's at the core of a lot of religions because initially most religions were about women, or rather controlling the breeding of women. In the end it was at root a means to bind a woman to a single man so that the man did not bring up other mens children. The penalties for adultery by women were rather more severe than they ever were for men, even Jesus had to deal with it, although he did it with dignity and sympathy pointing out it did take two when a woman accused of adultery was brought before him.
Yet as ever, some religions notably the religion of perpetual offence refuse to accept a woman is anything other than the equal of a man in many areas...
Telegraph.
A Muslim boys’ school is facing claims of segregation after advertising for a temporary science teacher but making clear that women need not apply.
The advert published by the outsourcing company Capita requested a “Male Science Teacher” to cover lessons, including some mathematics classes, until the end of the current academic year on a short term contract for up to £150 a day.
Secular campaigners said the advertisement was just the latest in a series of demands for religious customs and practices to be “accommodated” in the education system as a result of giving faith groups the power to run schools.
It follows a storm over allegations that non-Muslim female staff at the Al-Madinah free school in Derby had been forced to wear headscarves in line with strict Islamic practices.
There have also been concerns that girls at other Islamic schools are being required to wear full veils as well as questions over segregation in classes.
Capita argued that the exclusion of women could be legally justified but the advert was later withdrawn after a warning from the Department for Education over the need to comply with equality law.
And they wonder why muslim males have a very serious problem dealing with women as witnessed by the spate of grooming trials featuring muslim msales, the acid attacks and (dis)honour killings of muslim females who fall in love outside the family bounds.
Thing is, to the school they probably saw no problem in making the request, it fitted their mindset like a glove and they were probably surprised when Capita were forced to withdraw it.
Islam and muslims in general really need to realise that their religion is trumped by secular rules and that their perpetual affront at anything they believe is 'forbidden' by their weird set of rules by an ignorant paedo who listened way too hard to the voices in his head. You'd think society in general would have given them a hearty 'fuck off' by now save only that they've been pandered to by the political classes as their little brown brothers and by the moronic left as proto-socialists to the point where they honestly believe they can get away with anything including murder because utter mongs like Cameron will turn around ad tell us 'this isn't islam' when it clearly bloody is.
There is no place for islam in a civilised society, all other religions adapt and comply, islam by its very nature cannot hence the borders of blood surrounding any enclave of muslims that reaches a critical mass.
They failed this time, sooner or later they'll try again, unfortunately the fools that govern us may just let them get away with it...

I think you may be forgetting something here...

Because of the current furore over EU immigration from the likes of Romania and Bulgaria along with the fear that somehow or other the EU will somehow get Turkey in by hook or by crook, the party which presided over the damaging uncontrolled immigration spate when last in power have a solution. They intend to make all benefit claimants pass a test in basic English, maths and computing skills.
BBC.
Unemployed people who lack basic English, maths and computing skills should be stripped of benefits unless they take up training, Labour will say.
Under the plans, all new claimants of Jobseeker's Allowance would have to sit a basic skills test within six weeks.
The move is set to be unveiled by MP Rachel Reeves in her first major speech as shadow work and pensions secretary.
I suspect Labour are forgetting that under their rule, education was dumbed down to the worst levels since Victorian times with 1 in 5 pupils leaving school struggling to read and write back in 2010.
So, I reckon that any test will leave a lot of people unhappy, never mind immigrants or the test will be so useless that it will be almost impossible to fail. In fact I suspect that this measure will have to be quietly shelved as it attacks Labour's core demographics when it comes to getting votes in.
Still it makes for good headlines and as an attempt to capture the public mood, it's not a bad one. The problems start with anyone with a bit of common sense realising that the people it will hit won't be a lot of immigrants who speak, read and write English generally better than a good few English, but that it will hit those badly let down by our poor education system and its politically motivated curriculum which has failed a generation of kids and left them unable to progress any further than the benefits queue.
The foul results of political correctness (all must have prizes) modern teaching practices (rather than using what worked) and endless tinkering with the examinations and curriculum to get ever higher results (rather than actual ability) has left many out there simply unprepared to pass any meaningful test on English, maths or computer skills (I doubt text speak is a computer skill or indeed an English one)
Still it makes for good headlines... which sums up political thinking these days.
Truly we are doomed.

Pointless no, but liable to be sabotaged yes...

Labour appear to have come up with an idea that I've been in favour of in the past...
Actually no, they've come up with an idea similar in which rather than have teachers working as self employed on a fixed term contract by a school, they want them to be licensed with a licence coming under renewal every so often.
They believe it will make it easy to get rid of the teachers who can't or won't teach to a given standard...
BBC.
Teachers would have to be licensed every few years in order to work in England's state schools under a future Labour government, the BBC has learned.
Shadow education secretary Tristram Hunt said regular re-licensing of teachers would allow the worst ones to be sacked whilst helping others to receive more training and development.
The last government made a similar proposal for what became known as "classroom MOTs" but then dropped it.
Unions criticised it as "pointless".
I suspect the teaching unions who think it pointless may just be a tad worried over their activists not getting a license renewal as many of them are 'Pilgrims' and don't actually teach at all and it might be a tad tricky getting a renewal approval from your head teacher if you don't actually do anything save sup at the taxpayer teat (well I can hope)
Personally I reckon my thoughts in that they should be self employed works a lot better and will require a lot less in the way of bureaucracy. After all, the choice would then be down to a headmaster (him/herself subject to a contract held by the school board) and they could choose to only allow the best to re-apply for the posts and get rid of anyone not up to scratch.
So... expect Labour to drop this if elected, have it torn to shreds by their union paymasters or put in a measure clogged with so much bureaucracy that it costs a fortune to run and means nicely paid jobs for the boys...
Probably the last knowing Labour.

It's the system or the teachers, you decide

An OECD (Economic Co-operation and Development) report is out stating that British kids have stagnated in standards achieved in core academic subjects by more than 500,000 pupils aged 15 in 65 countries.
Telegraph.
British schoolchildren are lagging dramatically behind their peers in the Far East despite a multi-billion pound rise in education spending under the last government, a major international study has found.
Standards achieved by pupils in the UK have failed to improve over six years as teenagers elsewhere in the developed world continue to pull ahead.
Figures published by the respected Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) compared standards achieved in core academic subjects by more than 500,000 pupils aged 15 in 65 countries.
I do wonder if the rise in education spending actually went on infrastructure rather than raising standards.
However I suspect the biggest problem our kids have isn't that they are less bright, but that the system is designed to hold them back and possibly too many subjects are taught along with occasional problems in schools where the first language is anything but English.
Years of meddling in the system by politicians trying to put right the degradations caused by leftard thinking have left us with a lowest common denominator system where the best are swamped by the mediocre. There's little or no streaming in schools, merely banding and the emphasis is upon passing an Ofsted test rather than actually teaching the kids something.
The teaching Unions themselves do not help matters by fighting like furies to keep incompetent teachers in place as well as their pilgrim system where activist teachers actually spend no time in the classroom and instead spend all their time on union duties (all paid for at taxpayers expense)
Our system was wrecked years ago when the comprehensive system was introduced, the retirement of the last able teachers from the era before has been the death knell for our kids when it comes to getting a state education. Envy and malice from the leftards reduced a system which produced a well educated generation into adult life into a mess which benefits no one and has employers bemoaning the fact that often enough kids come for interviews unable to read, write, do basic maths or even articulate a sentence verbally.
So I suspect we'll continue to slip down the league tables until we scrap the system we have and replace it with one that gets rid of political correctness, multiculturalism plus allows teachers to teach and keeps the unions out of education.
In other words, not for a long time.

Market forces

In the end it all comes down to price, the more expensive it is, the less likelihood anyone will use it. And thus we come to the situation of University top up fees, where there's now a predicted shortfall of 5,000 students applying to universities across the UK, although universities maintain this may drop before the end of the year.
Telegraph.
The number of students applying to university has dropped by 5,000 in a year following warnings over a decline in graduate job prospects.
Figures from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) show that the overall number of applications from British students is down by four per cent so far this academic year.
The disclosure came on the day that the Government announced it was cutting £100 million from the National Scholarship Programme – a fund for poor students.
It also follows the publication of figures from the Office for National Statistics showing that half of recent graduates are working in jobs that do not require degree-level qualifications.
But university leaders dismissed the figures today, insisting that they were not a “particularly useful indicator of final demand”.
All this is down to the Labour Party's insistence on everyone should have a degree nonsense which totally devalued the standard of a degree and left many students up to their necks in debt when they finally got one. You see in leftard eyes, universities were elitist, and sought to give everyone the same opportunity. A sort of comprehensive style education disaster at a far higher level. That many universities actually had to put in place courses to upgrade students to even take a degree was ignored. Nor was the irony of a lot of employers demanding degree candidates to do jobs that an average O Level student could do seen as a massive flaw by those in charge of the ridiculous scheme.
Well the chickens have come home to roost, people are now saying no thank you to massive debt and somehow I doubt that the cuts in the National Scholarship Program were culpable for the downturn either.
For a lot of jobs, people simply don't need degrees, particularly degrees in useless subjects such as flower arranging, The Beatles, or even media studies come to that. What they simply need are the correct qualifications necessary to to the role involved, normally that isn't a degree, simply experience on top of an O Level.
Socialists have successively wrecked the education system in this country aided ably by ignorant Tories too scared to put right what has gone wrong. Only our top 10% ought to be going to Uni and they should be going with full grants, all others education ends with A levels, with work related courses paid for by employers available for apprenticeships and the like.
Sadly though I doubt the rot can be undone, not without going back to basics and tearing the corrupt edifices of higher education down and our politicians simply won't do that...

Normalising a debased religion

I don't like islam, I believe that those who bomb, maim, mutilate, rob, steal, rape, groom underage children are all following in the exact words of its founder. That's not to say that all muslims are bad people, it's just my opinion that many are good people in spite of their religion, rather than because of it.
So it comes as no surprise that a leftard headmistress jumped the gun by telling parents that children would be marked down for racial discrimination if they did not attend a workshop on Islam. This is despite the fact that islam, nor muslim is actually a race despite the best attempts by the moronic left to insist that it is...
Mail.
Parents today accused a primary school of trying to 'blackmail' them after they were told their children would be marked down for racial discrimination if they did not attend a workshop on Islam.
The headmistress of Littleton Green Community School, in Huntington, Staffordshire, wrote to parents telling them about the school trip to the Explore Islam workshop at Staffordshire University next week.
They were told the Years Four and Six children would be looking at religious artefacts on their visit - and threatened with being labelled as racists 'throughout their school career' if they did not go.

Going through the various comments also displays a staggering ignorance with few being able to tell the difference between a religion and race. As for the schools reasoning that they have to study another religion, you'd think they'd opt to avoid one with a history of barbarism that stretches through to today. This comes on top of a threat of another twin towers outrage by muslim groups in Norway if they don't get a part of Oslo declared a muslim enclave under shariah law.
This is why there is no place for islam in any civilised society and this is why the left who have been complicit in apologising for these barbarians have no place in government, power or influence in the UK as they too are the enemies of civilisation.
We are storing up a dreadful legacy for our children by allowing this religion a place in our society in pretty much the same way as the left supported Hitler at the beginning of WW2 because of the pact between Hitler and Stalin and ended up horrified by the invasion of the barbaric Soviet Union.
You reap what you sow, something leftards and other apologists for the religion of hate seem to forget.

Oh good grief

Tragedies happen, life goes on, a simple maxim to help deal with the occasional knocks life throws you. At one time in the past our kids were brought up and schooled in a competitive atmosphere, it helped us all learn to deal with both success and failure. These days though a new ethos has caught on aided and encouraged by the leftard thinking that goes in schools and colleges it's the all must have prizes and all must be winners meme that gives kids a cozy upbringing in the education system and leaves them systematically unable to cope with real life...
Telegraph.
A coroner has criticised top football clubs for the “cruel” practice of ditching young players, after an aspiring footballer killed himself as he battled with depression after being dropped from a Premier League club.
Josh Lyons spent three years as a young teenager trying out for a place at Tottenham Hotspur when he was ditched by the club at 16. He played for other teams but struggled with depression and killed himself earlier this year at the age of 26.
Dr Karen Henderson, the assistant deputy coroner for West Sussex, criticised clubs that “build up the hopes” of young players only to drop them, and called for more support for aspiring footballers.
“It was that pivotal point that crushed a young man's life and all the dreams that go with it,” she said.
"That one moment I find was the single most important factor that led to the events that ended on the train tracks.
Whilst what the young man did was tragic for friends and family, I simply cannot accept the coroners statement that Premiership clubs have a duty to somehow keep going with players who are clearly not going to make the grade. Josh sadly wasn't good enough and if he'd been schooled in the atmosphere of hard knocks that my generation got used too in schools he'd have probably developed the necessary defence mechanisms to cope with failure, God alone knows I had enough knocks and setbacks to cope with, though admittedly I was not that talented at sports.
Schools and indeed parents today rarely if ever teach their kids about dealing with failure, it simply didn't happen. Look at the banshee wails when the government made examination marking a bit harder after so many successive years of kids getting better results yet an ever higher turnout of illiterates was recorded. Kids and parents have become unused to failure, not because they are cleverer or better, but simply because a system was set in place to prevent failure being acknowledged or learned about.
As it is, kids reach adulthood or get into an adult environment and discover a whole new ball game where failure to perform to a certain standard has very direct results and if they haven't learned to cope with failure, well sometimes the result is tragic.
What happened to Josh is awful, but the blame does not lie with the football club, it lies with those who did not teach him to deal with failure.
