The recent Ukip surge has politicians a bit rattled. Ukip stands for many things, but the main one is leaving the EU, however that's not the policy which has the main political parties worried. Ukip's anti immigration stance is the one where they believe they are going to have to act tough not quite realising that the second goes hand in hand with the first...

The public has lost faith in government claims about tackling immigration because it does not tally with what they see on the ground, Nick Clegg will admit.
In a speech on immigration tomorrow, the Deputy Prime Minister will say it is ‘no wonder’ that people do not believe what ministers tell them when they have been ‘repeatedly told one thing only to then see another’.
He will speak out in favour of the free movement of European citizens but seek reforms to ensure that fewer Eastern Europeans move here if more countries are admitted to the EU in future.
Labour’s welfare spokesman Rachel Reeves will also call for reforms to the freedom of movement – to tackle benefit tourism – in a speech tomorrow.

Yes people have lost faith in the government mostly because we know they lie to us and unfortunately for the boy Clegg and Rachel Reeves they are lying to us about reforming the EU too as reform particularly on the free movement of labour (even if it is benefit tourism) is one of the cornerstones of EU policy and they aren't going to change it to suit us.
Nor is it EU immigration that really concerns people, it's immigration from islamic countries and the setting up of ghetto's of islamists who don't integrate, hate us and are just as big benefit leeches via their families who don't work and have severe medical problems due to generations of first cousin marital inbreeding.
The fact is, we've been pushed to the limits by mass uncontrolled immigration coupled with constantly being told that we have to be tolerant and tolerate the intolerable. We are the ones being called racist by the likes of the moronic left and their liberal fellow passengers. We are the ones who live next to the expanding ghetto's with their shariah law, intolerance, grooming gangs, homophobia, misogyny etc and we're told that we are the problem, not them!
What do people do when politicians and the political process fail them? They look to politicians proposing simple solutions. That usually means minor parties like Ukip, but it can also mean groups like the BNP too.
The next twenty or so years are not going to be fun in the UK, I just hope that the damage can be repaired in time. Either way, Clegg and Reeves aren't the solution, they and their parties are part of the problem.

Going after the easy targets

In a UK where illegal immigrants can get the right to remain due to the Human Rights Act it comes as a surprise to find out it doesn't work for just anybody. It does appear that if you're a law abiding citizen you have less rights under the Act than a rapist or a child molester with a family.

A BRITISH man fears his family could be torn apart because his pregnant wife has been threatened with deportation to her native Australia.
In a bitter battle that has touched the hearts of thousands, Dale Tate's wife, Katherine, has been told by officials she will be booted out of the UK in just ten days, even though her husband and two sons are British citizens.
A judge said the family could stay at home in the UK, where Mr Tate has spent all his life – but the Home Office are seeking to overturn the ruling.
The fight comes as thousands of foreign criminals remain in the UK using human rights laws and the Home Office has only just been able to boot out terror suspects Abu Qatada and Abu Hamza after years of wrangling.
The 30-year-old, from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, said: "My wife is an Australian citizen, our two children are British citizens, and she is six months pregnant with our third child.
"I own an electrical contracting company and employ two tradesmen and two apprentices in turn creating jobs, skills and a contribution to our economy and welfare system.
"We claim no benefits whatsoever, no child support, no family tax credits or others alike.

As the last sentence tells us, this family are obviously a menace and a burden to society /sarc>
You have to wonder at the mentality of those going after this woman, sure rules are rules, but depriving kids of their mother who is genuinely married to a UK citizen who is clearly a hard worker seems a tad ridiculous. The Home Office have even demanded that the NHS do not treat her pregnancy without the family stumping up cash first and it all appears to be over a paperwork error.
Is it just me or does the suspicion raise its head with anyone else  that had she been any colour but white this whole thing would have been swept under the carpet? After all, if you look at these cases you'd almost certainly think so...

* A Lebanese man who was a prime mover in a £3 million fraud, and who admitted receiving £258,000 from the crime to fund a lavish lifestyle including a Mercedes, a Range Rover and expensive watches. The 40-year-old was jailed for 40 months but allowed to remain in the UK because of the effect that deporting him would have had on his children and wife, who was also jailed for her role in the fraud.
* A Pakistani man, aged 40, jailed for eight years for conspiracy to import Class A drugs and conspiracy to kidnap, whose lawyers argued that he should stay in Britain because of his "right to family life".

Guess it's so much easier to spend time, effort and taxpayers cash on going after the easy targets and you'd suspect that Mrs Tate would have though a paperwork mistake and her leading a blameless life would have been easy to surmount, particularly as all her children will be UK citizens.
Perhaps she ought to start committing crimes? It does appear to be the only solution to Home Office intransigence.
What a skewed set of priorities those running the government have.

Only in the UK could we have a situation where we are linked to the EU and an open door policy where anyone in the EU can come here and immediately start claiming benefits. We even put up with claimants lying to get houses and then once the truth is known still allow them to stay even though they are demanding a bigger house.

THE scandal of “soft touch” Britain has been exposed by a migrant family of 17 living in a three-bedroom house.
The super-sized Toma family from Romania were so desperate for a new life they lied so their brood could live together in one of the worst cases of overcrowding ever seen.
They claim they stand to pocket £55,200 a year in benefits while dreaming of a bigger, taxpayer-funded home. But in a move that will be welcomed by millions of hard-working families, council chiefs have told them: “You’re not being housed by us.”
The Tomas, devout Christians, arrived here from Prahova in Romania in 2012, lured by the prospect of a better life for their children. Hard-working father Mihai, 47, says he earns £1,800-a-month as an electrician.
But turned away by two letting agencies because of the size of their family, they told a private landlord they were a family of six to secure the property in September 2013.

The Council at least have told them where to get off, but I doubt the private landlord is any too pleased. Any sane country wouldn't let them in unless they had a job first, nor would they allow a migrant access to benefits unless they qualified for citizenship say after being in continuous employment for 5 years. Why should the taxpayers and ratepayers of the UK pay for someone who wasn't born here? Oh yes, bit of a rhetorical question that, it's the EU, if you offer something to your own, you have to offer it to everyone else, though few other countries seem too...
Just another reason I'm glad I'm getting out as I'm sick and bloody tired of paying for this.

Mp's are complaining that the practice of female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a national scandal and they are right, though their finger pointing is also an attempt to shift the blame for their own failure to tackle the introduction of alien cultures to the UK in the name of 'rubbing the right's face' in diversity.

Failures by ministers, police and other agencies have led to the "preventable mutilation of thousands of girls", the Home Affairs Committee said.
It blamed a "misplaced concern for cultural sensitivities" for inaction, and called for a national action plan.
The government said it was working to end "this terrible form of abuse".
The report called for greater anonymity for victims and protection orders to prevent girls from being taken abroad.

Funny how the BBC are only highlighting this now, guess it must be down to the fact that it's a Tory government that they can blame, they tend to ignore Labour governments wrecking the country.
It's also amusing to see the excuse of concern over 'cultural sensitivities' which essentially meant that certain cultures were above the law because they were seen as 'better' than the indigenous one. A classic case of one law for them another for us.
No, the state, via law enforcement, doctors and social services  failed these girls by making it very plain that if a young girl was found to be mutilated in such a way then the investigation would be thorough and those who aided and abetted the practice were either going to jail or being deported, though personally I would have opted for castration and deportation for any male involved and sterilisation and deportation for a woman. The practice is utterly vile and serves no medical purpose other than to prevent a mature woman's enjoyment of sex so she (in theory) won't stray. A certain religion of (not) peace likes this idea and it also has adherents in certain African tribes too who don't like the idea of a woman enjoying sex in case she finds that her husband is not terribly good at it and goes elsewhere. That sort of thinking is also at the root of stoning a woman for adultery but letting the male adulterer off with a warning.
And successive governments and their minions in the state allowed them to get away with it.
Now we have a problem where certain communities have been allowed to clump together to keep their own practices and have their own doctors covering for them.
Yes, it's a scandal, but there's a lot of blame to go around and it's not just the parents...

I doubt this will change things

A government funded survey has told the political classes that they ignore the rise of anti-immigrant sentiments at their peril. Problem being that as they don't live with the people who have to live amongst the problems being caused by mass uncontrolled immigration and the debacle of multiculturalism where every other culture but the native one is prized and the native one is held in contempt by many of the political classes as racist and bigoted because it does not live as they do in their comfortable little bubble.

Politicians have contributed to a rise in anti-immigrant sentiment because of a widening “disconnect” between the “liberal political class” and public opinion, the UK’s most authoritative barometer of public opinion suggests.
Almost half the population now believes that a decade of mass migration has not only harmed the economy but undermined “British culture”, the annual British Social Attitudes survey shows.
The “persistent public anxiety” over immigrant numbers is something the main political parties “ignore at their peril”, the Government-funded study warns.
Significantly, the study — which has been charting public opinion for more than 30 years — found signs of a rejection of a multicultural notion of Britishness.
In striking contrast with a decade ago, when the survey showed rising acceptance of minorities, increasing numbers now single out factors such as being born in the UK or having “British ancestry” as important elements of “British” identity.

A decade ago perhaps we were a little more tolerant, but the determination of the thrice damned Labour Party to rub the so called right's nose in multiculturalism has stretched that tolerance to the limit. Nor does the article mention where the real stresses in society lie. EU immigration is a problem, but it's solvable by taking us out of the EU as most of their immigrants don't have UK citizenship and will have to leave. The ones that are here such as the Poles etc aren't that big a problem though groups such as Roma are a bloody nuisance. The real problem has been the governments invitation of islamic immigrants whose creed and practices are anathema to everything that Western civilisation stands for. The political classes permitted them to get away with said practices by either ignoring them or rounding on those who did complain as racist or bigoted for having the temerity to say something critical about their little brown buddies. hence we had the grooming scandals, Female genital mutilation, homophobia, misogyny, a rise in genetic defects due to the tribal custom of marrying first cousins, militantism and finally murder on our streets as this alien creed refuses to integrate and see 'us' as the problem, not them All of this was swept under the carpet by leftards in local and national government until finally they could keep their squalid little secrets no more and the rise of groups who knew what was going on and were going to fight it became inevitable.
Yet still the political classes cannot and will not change, much of what I said above simply does not affect them.
Sooner or later we'll have civil war and they will be to blame...

Not our problem

Whilst the passport crisis carries on with people struggling to get out of the country and Labour blaming the Home Secretary personally for it (as if it's her job to check passports) let us turn our gaze over to those struggling to get in... illegally.

Migrants in the French port of Calais have gone on hunger strike demanding to be let into Britain.
Around 35 refugees from Afghanistan and Egypt have vowed to refuse food until a list of demands issued to Calais officials is met.
The hunger strikers are being backed by around 260 more migrants all calling for the French and British authorities to resume talks aimed at allowing them to move legally to Britain.

Hold on a sec, it's Friday so let me check my notes here..

Nope really struggling here as to why I should give a damn if illegal immigrants in Calais starve themselves to death whilst waiting for the UK government to let them in. The clue is in the word illegal of course, that plus being Afghani's and Egyptians essentially means they are islamics (most likely) and more trouble than they are probably worth.
We have a big enough issue in the UK at the moment with legal immigration and now a bunch of people want  to force the UK government and the French to resume talks (why were we talking anyway?) to let them in.
The fact that they are trying blackmail should mean an automatic NO! in the first place, governments simply cannot capitulate to blackmail or threats over issues like this, if they did it simply sets the ball rolling for the next bunch to try. That in essence is why I'm opposed to an amnesty on illegals in the country, give in once and the next bunch will pour in hoping for the same as a precedent has been set.
No this bunch of chancers are going to have to wait till the next Labour government to open the floodgates for them to get in. Or try to get in illegally as most of their brethren do...

We've lost control

It's something bloggers as well as other elements of the so called 'far right' have been railing about for years now. It's something that ordinary working people know about as they live with the mess it's caused. It's something that successive governments have denied even as the evidence mounted and the scandals grew.
Illegal immigration is out of control, it's bad enough that legal immigration is growing uncontrollably as well, but only one in seventy illegals are being deported if figures are to be believed.

Government data handed to the Daily Express shows 28,442 were held in Britain in the past two years despite migration experts putting the total of people here without permission as high as two million.
The figures – reporting that the foreign nationals come from 159 different countries, one from nearly every nation on earth – have sparked fresh calls for Britain to quit the EU and reclaim control of our frontiers.
Critics say the problem is the result of a soft-touch approach to immigration over decades and the majority of hard-working Britons now put it as one of their major concerns.
Newly-elected Ukip MEP Tim Aker said: “It is out of control.
"These arrests barely scratch the surface and show the Government’s distasteful go-home wagons were a gimmick and not a reflection they were serious about combating illegal immigration.
"Tackling this epidemic would be a top priority for Ukip as we are the only party that would get back control of our borders.”
The number of suspected illegal immigrants held in the past two years accounts for less than 1.5 per cent of the total number estimated by the pressure group Migration Watch to be here without permission.
The figures, which were obtained under a Freedom of Information request, show individuals from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh account for more than half those arrested.

Not only illegals, but islamic illegals too, as if we didn't have enough problems with the homegrown ones. Unfortunately the Border Agency's softly softly approach hasn't worked, it's been undermined by the previous government and from within by leftard sympathisers who don't seem to care a fig about the problems immigration is now causing the country, only that the demographics are changed to either help with votes or in the case of the leftards remove or marginalise the indigenous racist English as they see it.
Being in the EU doesn't help, the illegals simply get into some country and travel to Calais before paying up to be smuggled in, it means that with the free movement of Labour it's difficult to keep them out once they are in as they can move freely to our border. Nor does the HRA help as they often use that to plead persecution from their home country and delay the process, frequently enough vanishing again if given the chance. The scam on student visas helps a lot of them, they are easy to get and once they are in, amazingly enough a good few don't go back.
All this can be laid at the governments door, the current and previous one, their pandering to the EU and slavish adherence to the HRA has made the UK a haven for illegals as if they get in, there's a good chance they won't be going back.
I doubt we'll ever get control back until we leave the EU, even then it could take decades to sort out the mess politicians and the political classes have made of the border system.
And all the time it's getting worse...

Another day, another scam

Well the Tories fended off Ukip in the Newark by-election only for another reason for people to vote Ukip emerge on the day after the election, a more suspicious man than I might think the news was suppressed in order to assist the comfortable status quo of the current establishment.

Loopholes in the system mean cheats are free to return to their homeland while being paid £87.55 a week. Workers from the EU see our 28-week statutory sick pay as easy pocket money.
Some even claim the payments while holding down second jobs back home. The deception was ­rumbled by company managers across Britain who say they are ­powerless to ­act.
The scandal confirms Britain has “lost the plot on immigration,” said a Ukip MEP last night.
It comes days after the Government conceded it was helpless to stop £30million a year in child benefit payments flowing out of Britain for the off-spring of EU migrants working here.
The Department for Work and ­Pensions said the system is not abused but admitted it does not keep records on sick pay for migrant workers. But it is worried enough to urge companies to report staff suspected of lying.
Last night a payroll manager at a firm in the South-west employing Polish drivers said one took 16 weeks sick leave last year and has racked up 12 weeks this year.
The company says the man has a second job abroad but as they receive certificates from his Polish doctor the absence goes unchallenged.

One wonders how the DWP can claim the system is not being abused whilst also saying they don't check or keep records.
Still, because the EU says we have to treat migrants here the same as someone born  here or who has paid into the system here even if they just sell Big Issues after stepping off the ferry it means that they can claim all their benefits here, take a 28 week sicky and return home to get their local doctor to keep signing them off whilst keeping their original job or enjoying a better lifestyle paid for by the UK taxpayer. Yet we're constantly told that the EU is good for us... It certainly appears to be good for anyone who wants to leach off us, along with its ruling classes to whom the corrupt lifestyle they lead enables them to pocket millions at the taxpayers expense.
We need to leave, yet the big three insist on keeping us in and telling us it's for the best, that's why I'll never vote for them, they are the ones responsible for the mess in the first place and don't seem to have a lue as to how to deal with their problems nor the gumption to tackle them.
Can't we just leave?

The enemy within

The Home Office is responsible for dealing with illegal immigration, unfortunately due to previous wishy washy legislation, the Human Rights Act and the indolence and corruption of the Borders Agency and its leadership it faces an uphill task. A task not made any easier by leftard moles working within its structure warning about raids on businesses employing illegals...

A Whitehall mole has sabotaged hundreds of raids against immigrants working illegally in Britain by leaking sensitive government documents to activists, it was claimed last night.
Small businesses suspected of illicitly employing foreigners were tipped off after a radical protest group was covertly handed the hit-list.
The Home Office launched a two-week crackdown – codenamed Operation Centurion – to target workplaces, including care homes, hotels and restaurants and construction sites that were believed to be employing illegal immigrants.
But the Anti Raids Network, a left-wing pressure group, said it had warned the companies to expect officials to bang on the door after being passed the paperwork by the mole, Channel 4 News claimed.
The leak threatens to scupper the crackdown by allowing illegal workers to escape capture. The Anti Raids Network said it was justified because the swoops were ‘racially-profiled and unfair’ – a claim the Home Office said was ‘abhorrent and completely without foundation.’ It said the raids were ‘intelligence-led’.

One can only presume the dearth of actual intellect in a leftard group who believe that going after illegal immigrants is racist as by definition they will be of another race/nation/culture/religion to which the current definition of racist  seems to cover like a wet blanket. Generally illegals are economic migrants and work under the radar of the system for slave wages and do not contribute generally to the economy save in the area of VAT on sales of whatever they produce for their employer. They don't pay tax, they leech off the system in general and take jobs from those who actually are entitled to them. Naturally leftards love them as they in a very small way destroy trust in the system by their presence though how the moronic left justify the profits made by an employer indulging in employing illegals demonstrates hypocrisy of the highest order.
Unfortunately the civil service is rife with people who lean to the left in extreme ways they constantly sabotage government programs and their unions are amongst the most hard core militants of the TUC and who use their membership to rob the public via the taxpayer to pay for benefits the private sector workforce can only dream of.
That some are traitors to their country is a given, it's what the left do...

I thought it was illegal anyway

Seems moves are afoot to attempt to block interpreters from being placed in polling stations because there are indications that they have been abusing their position in not just telling people who can't speak English how to vote, but who to vote for.

The “integrity of the ballot box” is under threat because councils are allowing interpreters in polling stations, a minister has said.
Voters who do not speak English are at risk of being pressured or influenced by translators, undermining local democracy, Brandon Lewis said.
It follows allegations of “remarkable swings” to Labour in recent elections in Tower Hamlets, East London, in cases where it is claimed Bengali interpreters wrongly directed people on how to vote.
Mr Lewis, the local government minister, said council officials, the police and the public are unable to scrutinise the electoral process if officials are speaking to voters in a foreign language.
He told the Commons: “In light of previous instances of electoral fraud, including impersonation in polling stations, postal voting irregularities and allegations of improper influence, Ministers in this department have concerns about the practice of allowing foreign language translators or interpreters inside polling stations.
Cllr Peter Golds, the leader of the Conservative group, claimed a council-employed translator had instructed Bengali women to support Ken Livingstone in the 2008 mayoral election and had checked ballot papers after they had voted to ensure it was “correct”.
Certain wards saw “remarkable swings” where translators were employed, Cllr Golds alleged in a letter to the Electoral Commission sent earlier this month. There is no suggestion Mr Livingstone was aware of any wrong-doing.

Why am I not surprised by the fact that it was Labour who benefited?
I was under the impression (apparently wrongly) that the only people allowed in a polling station were the presiding officers and police and that no one else including party workers were allowed. So having an interpreter available seems like a breach of the law anyway, particularly in the light of quis custodiet ipsos custodes (who guards the guardians) when the presiding officers and the police have no idea what is being said to the voter.
Like the millions spent wasted on foreign language translation in this country, this is a practice that need to be stopped, if you don't know enough of the language to be able to interpret how to vote that's your lookout and there ought to be no one available save those who are legally obliged to be there in a polling station. After all, there's the suspicion that if you can't interpret the polling form, you won't know who your candidates were anyway.
As English is the recognised language of this country, then it should be the only language permitted on official forms and for official business. You want to speak Urdu or Gujarati in your own home, fine, but when dealing with the rest of the country you speak the language that the country speaks.
Otherwise there is the suspicion that by pandering to your laziness, the above happens.

And whose fault was it in the first place?

Well gosh, Labour intend to do something about our addiction to cheap labour by immigrants. What they intend to actually do remains a bit of a mystery of course, the reason we have cheap labour via immigrants is because of EU laws, industrial need and Labour's ruinous policy of mass uncontrolled immigration from elsewhere.

Britain risks becoming “dependent” on cheap migrant labour, Yvette Cooper will say today.
A Labour government would create laws to stop bosses using migrants to under-cut the wages of British workers, and the “serious exploitation” of migrants by businesses would be made a criminal offence, she will say.
Miss Cooper will also attack the Government for having a “worst of all worlds” stance, in which illegal immigration is getting worse while businesses are unable to find people with the skills they need.
Last month, James Brokenshire, the immigration minister, accused better-off families and big businesses of helping to support mass immigration by demanding cheap labour and services. Miss Cooper will say: “This kind of exploitation should be illegal. But the law isn’t working. We need change.
“The truth is that, for too long, exploitation in the labour market – a cause and effect of low-skilled immigration and illegal immigration – has gone unchecked.

Words, words, words... That's all they are, the only way to prevent immigration is to control our borders, to do that we need to leave the EU. Changing the law won't change a thing, particularly for EU citizens as it's illegal to treat other EU citizens as different to your own. Changing a law to prevent bosses from paying anything but the minimum wage just means the rest of us pay more as prices will rise and no doubt companies will still take on immigrants because they are prepared to do the work as our benefits culture means that a lot of people are quite comfy where they are.
This whole idea is simply ludicrous and won't/can't work, not unless we regain our sovereignty and can act in our best interests rather than the socialist wet dream of the EU and its insidious bureaucracy.
Cooper is just spouting the politicians mantra of saying what she thinks we want to hear, if she doesn't realise there's nothing we can do about it whilst being in the EU then she's either stupid or ignorant (possibly nay probably both)
Problem is there are some out there who will believe her... and vote for them...

What bloody crackdown?

Some people do come out with a load of absolute bull when it comes down to making press releases where they allow their beliefs to over ride the facts. Take the latest pronouncement by Tory Peer Lord Howell where he accuses the governments crackdown on immigration to have turned us into nasty Britain...

This is utter crud, the reason that the restrictions are in place is not to stop the gifted getting in, but the undesirables getting in and then vanishing of which the student visa system is a prime example. If anything the system is still far too lax because the EU has made it possible for anyone with an EU passport to travel here anyway and the Mediterranean countries have a nasty system of giving illegals a passport if they just go anywhere else. As English is a second language for many of them, guess where they come... yep they come to the land of benefits for all.
Until we leave the EU, this kind of abuse will go on.
We need a decent border control which counts people in and people out, we need restrictions on certain groups to make sure they don't outstay their welcome and we need a system in place where if you immigrate and don't pay in, then you get nothing back and your family back home get nothing either.
Yes we should welcome the talented with open arms, but Lord Howell doesn't seem to realise that the talented are suffering because the bloody untalented have taken advantage of the system, not because of some supposed crackdown by the government. There is no crackdown if we are still allowing immigrants in, it's as simple as that.

Getting tough is apparently not the same for the government as it is for the rest of us, in fact getting tough appears to be simply a matter of words then back to normal. Mind you, when it comes to deporting foreign criminals, their hands are tied, if only because they lack the guts necessary to remove the Human Rights Act.

Almost 4,200 foreign rapists, killers and other criminals who should have been kicked out of the UK are walking the streets after a surge in failed deportation cases.
The number of overseas convicts who are being released from jail without being deported has soared by a fifth in the past year, despite a series of promises by ministers.
More than 30 are walking out of jail and into the community every week.

Yep, they talk the talk but can't walk the walk as the lawyers will hold up any deportation for years if necessary and no doubt will even demand that a child molester ought to have his right to a family life, despite his family often enough being the ones that turned them in.
Yes the legal system only applies the laws, but often enough stretches them beyond recognition at times with precedent. Yet mostly that is down to badly written law and there's no doubt in my mind that the HRA is an unnecessary badly written law.
A society run by ordinary people wouldn't tolerate any foreigner who had committed a crime that led to imprisonment being allowed to remain afterwards, they'd be out before they'd even had a chance to place a foot outside prison.
But sadly the political classes are not ordinary people and rarely if ever come into contact with these scum.
Until we rid ourselves of the political classes, we won't get a decent society, it really has become that simple.

The Human Rights Act, one of the most odious pieces of legislation foisted upon us by the previous Labour government and naturally supported to the hilt by the Lib Dems as it's necessary to have it and remain in the EU. No one in a civilised society believes criminals should have no rights, but the HRA gives them exactly the same rights as a none criminal and this is where the trouble starts...

A SUDANESE rapist who preyed on girls as young as 13 is suing Justice Secretary Chris Grayling over “frustration and anxiety” caused by a delay to his parole hearing.
Adil Aboulkadir, 38, was jailed for a minimum of four years for his part in the abuse of three vulnerable girls.
He was said to have led a gang of five Darfur refugees who groomed victims aged 14 and 13 in Dartford, Kent.
Aboulkadir had already launched a series of taxpayer-funded ­legal actions which could cost Britain more than £250,000 and block moves to deport him for years.
Now he wants damages, saying his human rights were violated because he had to wait seven months for a court date to argue for his freedom.
Taxpayers paid £125,000 for a legally-aided lawyer and ­interpreter during the gang’s trial at Maidstone Crown Court in 2008. Aboulkadir was convicted of rape and sexual ­activity with a child. But he convinced the High Court that his rights were “arguably” violated by a failure to consider release immediately his minimum jail term ended.
He was freed 16 months ­after the four-year tariff expired. Since 2013 he has been in an immigration centre, fighting a bid to deport him.

I actually feel rather sick at having this monster in the same county as me...
Any sane system would have had him deported the second he left prison, any decent system would have had the child rapist take a bullet in the back of the head the moment he was found guilty of his rape jihad. But no, our system gives the monster a chance at milking the taxpayer because the system hurt his feelings by taking too long.
This man should never have been allowed into the UK, he should not have been allowed to remain, but the lunacy that is the HRA which the government won't remove so in love with the EU that it is gives this scum the chance to stay here and possibly be a risk to other children.

397,000 reasons to leave

I'm not opposed to immigration (on my terms) nor am I opposed to the free movement of labour, what I am opposed to is the economic migration of immigrants to gain access to the UK's benefits system which under EU law we have to provide to EU citizens in exactly the same manner that we provide our own unemployed.

THE growing popularity of Britain as a haven for economic migrants has been exposed in figures showing the lives of almost 400,000 foreign-born residents are funded by the taxpayer.
New Home Office statistics reveal that 397,000 non-UK nationals received handouts in February 2013 – a rise of nearly 110,000 from 288,720 in the five years since 2008.
But the true number could be even greater as the details are not yet available for the past 12 months.
Ukip spokesman Tim Aker said: “This shows the Government has virtually no control over our borders.
“It shows how broken our migration system is – and the longer this is allowed to go on the more chaotic the situation will get.
“We need to be outside the EU in order to have full control over our borders so we know who is in the UK and who is deserving of benefits.”
It was revealed that net UK migration rose to 212,000 in the year to September 2013, pushing it further away from Prime Minister David Cameron’s target of below 100,000 by 2015.

The government aided and abetted by the previous government  has no control whatsoever over immigration, just look at their pathetic attempts to remove illegal immigrant criminals. The floodgates were opened under Labour in an attempt to rub the 'rights' nose in multiculturalism the socialist wet dream that has proven to be a nightmare as taxpayers are becoming increasingly angry about paying for those who come here and do not work, indeed have no intentions of working. Every day it seems some bloody twat of a politician comes on the MSM declaring something has to be done about immigration knowing fine bloody well that owing to our EU membership there's absolutely sod all they can do without it. They talk the talk as opinion polls tell them it's a voter concern, but they cannot walk the walk as the leadership of their party are EUphiles to the bloody core.
Yes I know Ukip are not everyone's cup of tea and they do have a hell of a lot of oddballs who appear at times not to know how the EU actually works... or indeed real life.
But if not Ukip, then who?
There is no chance the Tories, Labour or especially the Lib Dems will ever allow us to leave the EU.

Neverending corruption

There are constant tales doing the rounds about the way immigrants fool the system in order to stay, pass their driving tests, apply for extra benefits, pass medicals even exams. Some are anecdotal, others appear to be the plain unvarnished truth...

The Home Office has suspended English language tests run by a major firm after BBC Panorama uncovered systematic fraud in the student visa system.
Secret filming of government-approved English exams needed for a visa showed entire rooms of candidates having the tests faked for them.
The English Testing Service - which sets the exams - is one of the largest language testing firms in the world.
Home Secretary Theresa May said the BBC's evidence was "very shocking".
For the last year, Panorama has been filming undercover, following a network of agents helping people obtain student visa extensions through fraud.
Each year, around 100,000 non-EU students get their visas to stay in the UK extended.

The student visa system has been a way to gain access (and vanish) to the UK since it was allowed to be expanded by the previous Labour government.  Since then a flood of students have come in from various non-EU countries on very flimsy educational contracts and a good few it seems have vanished or as in the case above had their visa extended because someone else took their test for them.
I don't know why Theresa May found it shocking, it's certainly no surprise to me or probably a large percentage of the indigenous population who have known about these scams for years.
Essentially a lot of these schools hit on a money making racket to get students to pay upfront for an education yet did not check to see what happened when they got here and dropped off the system. The whole system was lax from top to bottom and was simply a way for illegal immigrants to get into the UK and vanish in the hope (a pretty good one) that the Border Agency never caught up with them.
Again and again it appears that our immigration service and border controls are not fit for purpose as it appears anyone can simply waltz into the country on some sort of visa and then vanish or in the case of the schools get someone else to do the test for you to extend your stay.
It appears not a day goes by where a story about immigrants (illegal or otherwise) hits the headlines about them abusing the system. A common sense approach would have been instant deportation and citizenship revoked for them should they be caught and convicted of committing a crime say within the first ten years of their residency and instant no questions asked deportation if they are here illegally or under a temporary visa.
However we do not live under a common sense system, we live under a legalistic one undermined by the Human Rights Act.
We're storing up a mass of trouble for future generations and still we fiddle whilst Rome burns...

Well at least he didn't hang on...

It was interesting that the immigration minister resigned after finding that he was employing an illegal immigrant. Not the fact that he resigned, that was a sort of falling on your sword thing to do and quite honourable in avoiding claims of hypocrisy. No, the most interesting thing was that it only took him a week and he didn't try to justify it either simply that he made a mistake in not checking the immigrants credentials properly.

Mr Harper said he discovered last week that she did not have indefinite leave to remain in the UK and decided that his position leading the government’s immigration reforms was no longer tenable.
The MP, seen as one of the rising stars of the Conservative Party, conceded that he should have checked his cleaner’s background “more thoroughly”.
He announced his decision to quit the government in a letter to the Prime Minister, in which he apologised for any “embarrassment” he had caused.

Very, very different you'll admit to other MP's of both Lords and Commons who have tried to hang on for months if not years with scandals hanging over them as the 'boy's' club closed ranks around them. Indeed Mr Harper probably took the wind right out of Labours sails by simply resigning after the facts became known rather than be subjected to weeks if not months of criticism at the ballot box during PM's question time.
Not that Labour have exactly anything to be proud about with illegal immigrants as they allowed the farce of the Border's Agency to develop as well as opening the floodgates to uncontrolled legal immigration as well which allowed several illegals to vanish into the melting pot once their visas expired.
Unfortunately whilst we remain part of the EU our borders will remain dangerously open allowing illegals who somehow make it into the EU free access across the Schengen Zone to the border at Calais. Indeed Greece at least was known to give illegals temporary visas on the grounds that they went elsewhere.
Still kudos to Mr Harper for not dragging out his eventual resignation over an embarrassingly long period.
As for illegals, well until we get control of our borders that's a problem that isn't going away any time soon.

It was amusing to read about a report mentioned in the Daily Mail which effectively put the boot into multiculturalism and none integration of various ethnic groups in the UK as allowed by previous government administrations as an exercise in vote grabbing and electoral gerrymandering.

Ethnic minorities should be encouraged to integrate into society rather than living in neighbourhoods with people from their own countries because it makes them 'feel more British', a study has shown.
Researchers from Essex University and the University of Oxford have found that minorities living in mixed areas were five per cent likely to identify with being British than those who didn't.
People who lived separately from their own ethnicity were also just as likely to take part in community activities, help out their neighbours and trust those they lived with as those who segregated themselves.
The study of 4,391 people, 3,582 of which came from ethnic minorities found that, for white Britons, being poor was a bigger factor in breaking down trust between neighbours than race.
'Diversity is really good for minority members in Britain,' the report's co-author, Neli Demireva, said. 'If they live in diverse scenarios they identify more with Britain. Contact is good because they don't create reactive identities.'

The use of the word diversity is of course in direct opposition to its use by the leftards and libtards who hate this country and wish to change it into something it is not. Their idea of diversity is akin to ghettoism and allows for different communities to wall themselves apart and will protect their right to do so with the extreme reaction of a rabid dog to anyone suggesting that they should mix in and get on with the rest of us.
Of course most minority groups do and it's amusing that the report doesn't focus on the 'M' word communities who are using their religion and tribalism to bring a little piece of their shitholes from over there to over here.
Of course you have to be careful about focussing on the 'M' word communities, they have a tendency to threaten with death anyone being mildly critical of them and are ably assisted by the moronic left who believe it's cultural and besides they vote for them and hate Israel too so what's not to like.
By permitting non-integration for so many years we've built up a ticking timebomb within our country that will probably end up in a violent confrontation at some stage, particularly if we allow members of a certain community who have been trained in arms by their terrorist supporting brothers abroad to come back here.
Non-integration will end in tears, hopefully not ours, but I have my doubts.

Let's see if he actually does.

One of the biggest costs to the country today is translation services both at local and national level. It literally costs millions more to print pamphlets in various languages other than English (Yes there's a case for Welsh in Wales and Scot's Gael in Scotland) There's also the cost of providing state funded translators to those who use the benefits and health systems too.
Oddly enough if you tried this in France you'd have to deal with everything in French, no exceptions, so Cameron is looking at the problem here...

David Cameron plans to strip welfare handouts from immigrants who cannot speak English.
In a radical bid to slash Britain’s benefits bill, the Prime Minister intends to stop printing welfare paperwork in foreign languages and prevent claimants using taxpayer-funded translators at benefits offices.
The move – which would also hit British residents who cannot speak English – was due to be announced tomorrow, but has been delayed following a row with Nick Clegg.
Tories hope that axeing foreign-language versions of documents explaining how to claim benefits would make it harder for immigrants such as newly arrived Romanians and Bulgarians to cash in on the UK’s benefits system, encourage others already here to learn English – and save money spent on translators.
Referring to the controversial Channel 4 programme, one Conservative aide said: ‘The Benefits Street culture must end. Period.’

OK, it's been announced, let's see if he can carry it through, it does seem unlikely considering the Lib Dem part of the coagulation will probably oppose it along with the leftard drones of the Labour Party. After all, they see benefits for all as a right for all, not as a safety net for those who either were born here or have contributed via taxation to the system.
It should never have been the responsibility of the taxpayer to fund translators and translations, that should have been the job of those trying to use the system, you either spoke English or brought someone along (paid by yourself) to translate for you. It would also have been an incentive to learn the language of the country you were living in as well.
Anyway, this might be a start to saving millions, I have my doubts that it's anything but a media headline grab, but at least they are thinking along the right lines.

Not really a surprise

The odious Keith Vaz made headlines last week greeting a Romanian jobseeker at Luton airport who was apparently one of the first of a veritable tidal wave of immigrants heading here to work/seek benefits.
So naturally it comes as no surprise that the guy who he greeted has done a runner...

Romanian migrant Victor Spirescu’s career at a car wash lasted just a day before he quit, it emerged last night.
Spirescu, 30, arrived in Britain on New Year’s Day to be greeted at Luton airport by Labour MP Keith Vaz – the chairman of the Commons Home Affairs Committee.
Spirescu was one of the first to arrive as controls on migrants from Romania and Bulgaria lapsed.
Earlier this week it emerged that Victor had a previous conviction for assaulting his former girlfriend in Bucharest in 2009.

Doesn't appear to be that nice a character so it's no wonder Vaz chose him.
Now as he's an EU citizen and not a criminal basically he can go where he wants and do as he wants so long as it's lawful in the UK. Which is probably why Viviane Reding the vice-president of the European Commission has told us all today that it's the fault of anti-immigration politicians who are going to wreck our future in the United States of Europe...
On top of that apparently Romania wants the term illegal immigrant banned and those who are illegals given access to the National Health Service...
Oh and Derby City Council have decided to spend £120,000 to fund a programme to help eastern Europeans find work at the same time it is sacking 350 staff.
And just to rub salt in the wound...

The British people must not be given a say on whether to leave the European Union because it is a ‘lottery’ which way they will vote, Lord Mandelson claimed today.
The former Labour Cabinet minister said Britain’s EU membership is ‘absolutely fundamental’ and must not be put ‘in the hands’ of an unpredictable referendum.

 So even if we don't like where all this is going, there are those out there in the pro-EU ranks who are hell bent on denying us a choice if we should stay or go because it might produce a result they don't want.
And yet they wonder why the EU becomes more unpopular by the day...
