A PAIR of dozy thieves have been jailed for more than 18 years - after being caught posing with their loot on Facebook. It's like they didn't believe uploading visual evidence of your crimes on the internet would not get you noticed. After all, considering the number of stupid prosecutions for people mouthing off whilst being white and the sheer number simply willing to be offended by proxy no matter what you do.
Jonathan Dougan, 26, and Matthew Murphy, 23, stole cars, motorbikes and bottles of champagne before posting snaps of their swag on the popular social media site.
Their first spate of thefts came just minutes apart when they pilfered luxury vehicles including a Triumph Bonneville motorbike and a Mercedes 'A' Class.
In another raid, the thieves drove away with a Mercedes E820 worth £30,000, before Murphy uploaded snaps of the car to his Facebook account.
Still other than coming out of prison in so many years still able to breed I suppose we should be grateful that some of the parasite class do appear to be getting dumber, it might eventually put them in the position of being incapable of doing anything illegal without being caught.
Still, no doubt the are others clever enough not to advertise their ill gotten gains on social media....

Luxury, my dear journo? I had a Bonneville; I pushed it further than I rode it. Merc A class ain't luxury no matter what badge is on the front - unless you drive a Fiat Panda, of course, in which case it might be a step up.
However, never let the facts get in the way etc etc.
The modern Bonnie is nothing like the old Meriden abortion. That said, I wouldn't term it "luxury".
I would. It isn't an MZ, Enfield Indian or C90, three of my four last bikes.

Yeah, well, bikes have moved on a bit in the last thirty years...
The modern Bonnie is a nice bike, but it is not by any means a luxury vehicle. The new Trophy is, bit not the Bonnie. I wouldn't have touched any of those bikes you mention with the proverbial bargepole - all being pretty appalling in their own way, so not really a valid comparison.
They were appalling, even though the Enfield is still being made 60 years after the Indians got them, and the 90 has sold 60 million not including copies. But yes, time has moved on. Time for something modern. Maybe an ER5?

I'd choose an ER5 over those three any day, yes.
If I wanted a 1950s pre-unit single, that's what I would buy, not a modern copy. The Bonnie - which prompted this minor off-topic tangent is a nice bike because it is very much a modern machine styled after its predecessors - but it ain't luxury and never will be. The Indian Enfield is simply old technology - and, frankly, if I wanted a 1950s cooking single, the Enfield wouldn't be it; I'd go for an AJS, BSA, Norton or Ariel - but not an Enfield. And by God, those C90s were truly horrible with their dreadful automatic clutch and heel/toe gear-lever. And let's not dwell on the MZ which only really had one good thing to be said about it - it wasn't a CZ...
