Parish Notice

My New Zealand work to residence visa has been approved and I'm joining the white flight from the UK.
As a consequence this blog will close some time around about the week of the 15th of August as I'll have no time to write and once in New Zealand few things to be angry about.

My disgust in what was done to a once great country and people was summed up by Batsby as he so aptly calls it 'I name her NHS Great Britain'

I'll miss my England, but it's not the country I wish it was, hasn't been for years, I'm just relieved to be getting Lady QM out while I had the chance as I doubt we'd like growing old here.

I am in the process of waiting for a Residence Visa so that we can go out to join our son. When we visited 3 years ago the place reminded me of the UK as it was when I was young.Good luck with the move.

Very best wishes QM.

The grass is never greener, just different. The Kiwi's are racing to catch up with Oz in The Race To Be The Worst Nanny Of Them All, but still, you should have more freedoms there than here.

Travel safe. I will miss your blog.

You'll have "few things to be angry about" in New Zealand? From what I've read the minorities are getting away with murder (especially in Auckland) and it's virtually a hate crime to say you don't believe in global warming.

You can run but you can't hide.

Good luck and thank you for so much.

I came late to this blog but, the nice things was, that there are a lot of 'right-thinking' people out there and I am not alone.

I've been to Auckland, it's where I'll be working, the city is friendly and unlike London I never felt the need to keep up my guard or any hostility at all.
The whole global warming scam is in the process of the wheels falling off so I expect they'll fall into line with common sense soon.
You find leftards everywhere, I just don't intend to let it get to me in a sub-tropical paradise.

Keep blogging Quiet Man,Indigenous peoples, Muslims/ Asians and the problems the UK white flight have to deal with facing such bastards in NZ should give you plenty to rant about.

Good Luck.

I'm sad to hear this QM but wish you all the very best of luck in NZ - they say it's like England used to be years ago. White Flight is a terrible thing for our country - all the best and brightest are leaving while they can. Keep blogging when you can.

I will miss your pithy comments but I think you have made the right decision and will look back and say 'Phew, glad I did it when I could'.

Best wishes to you, but I don't suppose you will need them because everything is going to be fine, fine, fine.

It would be nice if you post to let us know you have arrived safely and are settling in.
