Paying a high price

No, not about the Lib Dems (stop laughing at the back!) but about the lifestyle of the workshy and indolent.

Express.
‘GET A JOB, LEARN ENGLISH AND STOP SMOKING DOPE’

A JUDGE told an immigrant drug dealer on benefits that he must “get a job, learn English and stop smoking cannabis” if he wanted to avoid prison.
Pakistan-born Mohammed Ramzan was spared a spell behind bars after a court heard he spent £20 a day of his taxpayer-funded benefits on drugs.
The 32-year-old, who needed an interpreter to understand proceedings, admitted three counts of drug dealing after police raided his home and discovered cannabis bagged and ready to sell.
Twice over the next three months, officers raided different houses where Ramzan was living and each time found evidence of cannabis use.
Judge Andrew Hamilton told him at Derby Crown Court: “It’s about time you learnt to speak English. It seems to me very difficult to live in this country if you can’t speak the language.
“And you should be going out, getting work, instead of sitting at home smoking cannabis.
Well isn't that just a wonderful testament to the benefits society? An immigrant, can't speak English (so he says) unemployed, using his benefits to buy drugs and appears to be dealing in them too. The leftist imbeciles who encouraged uncontrolled immigration must be so proud.
First off, why is he here? Surely it cannot be that he came simply to live in a better country for nothing? (I know, I know)
Second, why can't he speak English yet?
Third, why isn't he in jail or being deported as a waste of space?

Now I don't really have an issue with the drugs, that's his choice, or rather would be if he was paying for them with his own money rather than benefits. However I'm firmly of the belief that you should get no benefits at all (housing, health, income support) if you were either not born here or never paid in for at least 4 to 5 years. That means you need enough cash to support you till you get a job, because once it runs out, you're out, begging is not a job and means an automatic deportation at your expense. perhaps we should make all immigrants pay a bond covering deportation, paid back at the end of their 5 year probation?
I'm also of the opinion that we should scrap all free translation services, this is the UK, we speak 3 official languages and can do braille, sign and large print if necessary. We need to take a leaf out of France's book and do nothing else but those, if you don't understand, that's your problem, not the states, you solve it at your expense.
Committing a crime during your probationary period means automatic deportation too, any crime, dropping litter etc.
Yes we should welcome immigrants who are prepared to work hard and contribute, but we should not be paying a penny to those who do not and cannot.

Plus you get benefits according to how many years you've paid taxes here after 5 years. Agreed.
