Hold fast to England
For if England dies
A precious jewel is lost forever
This cannot be
A land ruled by others
Small minded men of power
Who tell us we cannot be
Remove our rights of old
Hold their nation first
And Europe second in their hearts
They seek to break us
Set us against each other
Yet we will not go quietly into the night
For English we are
And England will be
Freedom our right
Not to be taken
Never given up
We shall be free
A future bright
The traitors cast down
England restored
Hold fast to English dreams
And remember our nation fair
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

You've a great blog, btw, I spent ages browsing it last night and found some excellent content. If it's OK with you, I'll add you to my blogroll.
Cheers,

Hi BG, I'm afraid I fell peril to the curse of using Google images and didn't check the provenance. You're quite correct in that credit should go where credit is due and thank you for being so gracious about it.
Thank you for the add
I too use google images QM, although I give credit when I can. Anyway the CCL only seems to apply to England and Wales.
A rather apt St George's Day post QM. I like it.
Thanks for sorting it. Keep up the good work, I'm off to do that link now.
@subrosa: I hadn't realised that the CCL was the "England and Wales only" version, so thanks for letting me know. FWIW I've just updated it.
HSGD to you, QM.
