Spotted in Morrisons supermarket whilst shopping today and yes they are a standard bayonet fit.
I thought they'd been banned in favour of mercury laden, unrecyclable, dim glowing, flickering, heavily subsidised, EU friendly compact fluorescents?

Interesting that they got away with it. Possibly after your pic here ... they won't. :)
Tbh James, despite the massive amount of traffic I get through here (approx 34 people a day lol) None of them have ever struck me as likely to grass up anyone, not even a supermarket :-D
Strood or Princes Park?
Princes Park
Defra lacks power to ban our bulbs
"The continuing drama over the EU's drive to force us all to use only so-called "low energy" light bulbs, rather than the incandescent bulbs that many of us prefer, has brought to light a truly surreal legislative blunder. Last week, it was reported that, as from next Tuesday, the public will be expected to report to trading standards officers anyone guilty of selling "illegal' incandescent bulbs. I thought I would check with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs whether such an absurd thing could be true."
It's still legal to run down your stock. Illegal to acquire or manufacture new 100 watt bulbs.
